A British label, short lived in Australia.  In 1975, during the time of Alice Cooper's “Welcome to my Nightmare” album, there was a legal argument between Cooper and EMI resulting in the album being withdrawn from sale (at the height of its popularity) and pulled from stores. The only way to obtain this album was to try and get an import copy from America. Towards the end of the year the album resurfaced and singles from it were released on a rather crudely designed white Anchor label through RCA. The label was dropped a short time later, and Cooper went to Warner Brothers. All Anchor records (EMI & RCA) are now considered quite rare, particularly the EMI albums..
