Label discontinued
Vocalion was founded in 1916 by the Aeolian Piano Company in New York City. They also introduced a line of phonographs at the same time. Vocalion first issued single sided vertical cut disc records. The label was discontinued in 1940. 
In 1963, Vocalion was revived in the UK by Vogue Records Ltd.
