Prom Records was a small independent label that recorded their own studio musicians and contracted talents doing cover versions of the hits of the day.
The Prom label was affiliated with the more familiar label, Waldorf Music Hall. These labels evolved into Grand Award, whose sister label, Command Records, is prized by stereo collectors.
