Records was founded in 1958 in Los Angeles by songwriter Leon René
with partners Rod Pierce and Gordon Wolf, to issue pop music.
René had previously set up the Exclusive and Excelsior labels in the 1940s, and then Class Records in 1951. The Rendezvous House Band recorded under many different names, including the Ernie Fields Orchestra and B. Bumble & the Stingers. The company went out of business in 1963. |
